Jan graduated from FA STU Bratislava in 1997. He worked as an architect with Atelier Zalman (1997-2000), practised in Ireland between 2000-2008, founded Atelier 008 upon his return and cooperated with IN-VI on big architectural and masterplanning projects home and abroad (2008–2012). His diverse portfolio includes large public, educational, cultural and leisure projects together with single family houses, residential and commercial developments and interior design. Jan is responsible for running the office and is its lead architect. He was nominated for Crystal Wing Award for architecture in 2014 for the design of Danubiana Modern Art Museum which won the Building of the Year Award in the same year.
Romana graduated from FA STU Bratislava in 1997. During her employment in Incheba Expo (1997-2000), she gained experience in exhibition and interior design. She practised in Ireland between 2000-2008, and cooperated with Archdesign and Atrios and the lead architect and project coordinator on large logistics, office and retail developments. Romana became an accredited LEED certifier in 2014. Apart from working on projects for our clients, she also has a responsibility for project coordination and BIM implementation.
